Majoring in biochemistry and minoring physics, Jason will be pursuing a PhD to research within the field of genetics. Jason has been playing chess since the age of six. He’s played chess throughout the entirety of the U.S., most notably finishing 2nd in the 2016 National K-12 Championship and finishing 1st in the Maryland Sweet 16 Invitational, earning a four-year scholarship to attend UMBC.
